Arup and HollySys signs collaboration agreement

Arup and HollySys Group Co., Ltd. (HollySys) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on global strategic collaboration today at the British Ambassador’s residence in Beijing, China.

The agreement focuses on facilitating the digital transformation of the built environment, especially in smart cities, rail, industrial automation and smart manufacturing, to deliver world-class intelligent solutions for China and overseas markets.

Founded in 1993, HollySys is a leading automation and control system provider in China, providing customers with integrated solutions and whole lifecycle services with the mission of ‘Automation for Better Life’.  For the past 20 years, HollySys has successfully delivered 30,000 solutions to over 12,000 clients in various industry sectors.

The MoU will see HollySys’ technical excellence in automation and IT and Arup’s knowledge and experience across industry combine to develop leading intelligent solutions on digital transformation of the built environment.    

The memorandum was signed by Arup’s Global Rail Leader and Director TC Chew, Director and China Group Leader Man Kang, as well as HollySys Chairman and CEO Baiqing Shao and Vice-President Yue Xu, in the presence of the HM Trade Commissioner for China, Richard Burn and Deputy Director of China International Trade Promotion Committee Beijing Branch, Bin Lin.
