Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV), which is responsible for planning and delivering major road projects for Victoria, has appointed Arup as its Technical Advisor. The Arup team will support MRPV on road, highway and freeway projects across Melbourne and regional Victoria for the next three years.

Arup is providing a flexible, scalable team with skills across project and programme management, transport engineering, traffic and transport planning, planning and environmental consulting and communications and stakeholder management.

We will work across all project phases from initial concepts through to post completion evaluations and support our client’s interactions with government, planning, design, construction and community stakeholders.

Arup brings extensive advisory and innovation experience to this appointment on projects including Regional Rail Link, Streamlining Hoddle Street and Monash Freeway Upgrade Stage 1.

Projects that deliver tangible positive social impact are the projects that ignite the passion of our people. They are at the core of Arup’s purpose to shape a better world. We are proud to have been selected as technical advisor to MRPV as it embarks on creating a better, safer and more reliable transport experience for Victorian road users for generations to come. ”

Arup and MRPV will activate the wider marketplace to develop a highly skilled and diverse workforce state-wide, and our multi-disciplinary team is supported by a range of specialist subconsultants to provide additional capacity and regional reach.

Through the inclusion of indigenous supply networks identified through sub-consultant Indigenous Defence & Infrastructure Consortium (iDiC), a robust social procurement framework and commitments to skills, education and employment, this engagement will enhance Victoria’s transport network – creating jobs, connecting communities and building sustainable transport links for future generations.
