Arup has been accredited as one of the first WiredScore digital connectivity certificate providers in Spain, which helps landlords to assess, improve and benchmark a property’s digital infrastructure.

Working across residential and commercial property, Arup will use the WiredScore standard to help clients assess their smart building credentials for both new builds and redevelopments.

The framework establishes a baseline analysis of the asset’s digital connectivity, and makes a series of recommendations to improve a property’s rating, ranging from 'Platinum' to 'Certified'.

WiredScore’s approach analyses aspects such as resilience, including mitigation strategies, and also explores the infrastructure’s flexibility and adaptability to new tech, the quality of mobile coverage across the property, the choice of providers as well as the tenant experience.

WiredScore also helps translate digital infrastructure into tenant-friendly language, giving landlords the ability to communicate the technology experience of their assets.

Arup has established multi-disciplinary teams working across all the fields relevant to WiredScore, including electrical, infrastructure and digital consulting, who will bring their extensive experience in different certifications (LEED, BREEAM, WELL) to help throughout the process. Our integrated approach helps our clients establish their property’s digital connectivity, making them more resilient and creating greater value throughout the asset lifecycle. ” Cristina Sanjuan Cristina Sanjuan Cities and Infrastructure Associate | Digital Lead
