Arup expands energy consulting portfolio in Germany

In response to the questions posited by the energy transition, Arup is strenghtening its energy offering in Germany, with a new suite of renewable energy and decarbonization services including developing integrated energy concepts for industrial and commercial clients, transaction advice and technical due diligence, as well as asset and portfolio management.

The expansion of renewable energies necessary for the energy transition and the associated decarbonisation will fundamentally change the energy industry and energy supply. The aim is clear: within the next decades, carbon emissions are to be reduced to zero.

To shape the future with renewable energies, we advise our clients on the most diverse aspects of renewable energy generation and supply. With a focus on sustainability, we offer comprehensive support ranging from transaction advice for wind and solar projects to energy consulting for properties, infrastructures and cities including the development of new business models in the energy sector.

An important aspect is technical due diligence. By identifying investment potentials, assessing risks and valuing assets or entire portfolios, we support our clients until the successful completion of their transactions. Our services are aimed at investors and financial institutions.

We also provide support in asset and portfolio management. Innovative solutions help to save costs and increase productivity and returns.

To achieve zero emissions in Germany and the EU, we develop integrated energy concepts for our clients. Our interdisciplinary teams of experts realise sustainable projects - from concept development to implementation - in the areas of on-site power generation, energy efficiency, storage, e-mobility and residual power procurement.

Our sustainability consulting helps our clients to develop and achieve their strategic sustainability goals - always keeping ESG criteria in mind. In addition to providing sound advice, we identify potential for the sustainable success of our clients.

Project and programme management are also part of our portfolio. We are responsible for the project management of demanding large-scale projects for our clients. In this function, we ensure that costs and deadlines are met and that the required quality is achieved, from conception through planning to completion.
