Arup joins WBCSD to support industry transition to net zero emissions

Arup has joined the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) to further drive efforts to decarbonise the built environment.  

Arup is behind buildings such as the Sky Believe in Better Building, the largest timber structure in the UK celebrated for sustainable innovation. It has also built the first AI and data driven building in Hong Kong using Neuron technology that enables buildings to dramatically reduce their energy usage.

Arup is working with organisations including the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group to accelerate new approaches and business models to help the world decarbonise and address the climate emergency. Arup will bring the knowledge from work with these organizations to support the WBCSD programmes including those looking at the Circular Economy and Climate and Energy.
