Arup has been appointed by Highways England to the Specialist Professional and Technical Services 2 (SPaTS2) framework, in collaboration with AECOM.

Winning places on both lots, the Arup AECOM consortium will provide a range of technical advisory services (Lot 1) and procurement support (Lot 2) with works commencing in mid-July 2020. It builds on the successful delivery of over 350 work packages awarded to the consortium in Lots 1 and 5 of the previous SPaTS framework.

The framework will support Highways England as it delivers the Department for Transport’s Road Investment Strategy 2 (RIS2), supporting priority areas such as future mobility, digital transformation and sustainability.

Our appointment to the Specialist Professional and Technical Services 2 framework will see us continue to support Highways England to deliver on RIS2 commitments and help plan for the future.
Our multidisciplinary team is committed to helping Highways England achieve sustainable improvements in road safety, customer experience and technical delivery excellence. ”
