Global sustainable development consultancy Arup has been honoured with a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award - recognising the firm as one of the top ten Best Places to Work in the UK.

Positioned at #8, Arup is the only firm operating in the engineering and architecture sectors to make the top ten and is ranked alongside organisations including Bain & Company, Google and Mastercard.

The Employees’ Choice Awards programme, now in its ninth year in the UK, is based solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies on Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruitment sites. Key workplace factors considered include career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, senior management and work/life balance.

Attracting, developing and retaining talent across Arup is a major priority for us and we’re delighted to have received such a positive endorsement from our colleagues. As an employee-owned firm, our culture and values are essential in ensuring that we are an inclusive and diverse organisation where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. This approach, alongside our collective focus on finding new solutions to create a more sustainable world, enables a collaborative environment where our people have the flexibility to own and develop their careers in a way that works for them. ” Helen Moore Helen Moore People Leader, UK, India, Middle East and Africa, Arup
