
Arup picks up four project awards, including the first ever accolade for Consulting Excellence, and two highly commended individuals.
Celebrating their 20th year anniversary, the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) awards in London were attended by the best of the UK’s consulting industry.
Arup was awarded:

The inaugural Consulting Excellence – Ethical Behaviour Award in recognition of Arup’s distinct culture and commitment to integrating ethical considerations into all aspects of projects, design and business decisions.

The Finance and Risk Management Award, presented for Arup’s development of a resilience framework with Welsh Water. This is one of the first projects to incorporate city, business and asset resilience in all aspects of a water business and represents a new mind-set for tackling both risk management and capital investment.

The People Award for Arup’s Emerging Leaders Programme with the NHS East Midlands Leadership Academy (EMLA). This programme enables NHS emerging leaders to develop skills for transformative change which has resulted in generating team savings of over 50 per cent on agency staff costs.

The Performance Improvement in the Public Sector Award for the London Overground Capacity Improvement Programme (LOCIP) with Transport for London. Arup’s risk and safety analyses enabled the London Overground network to increase capacity for passengers by 25 per cent.
