Arup project manager awarded CILTHK Young Achiever

Arup project manager Philip Yeung has been named CILTHK Young Achiever of the Year by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK).

The CILTHK Young Achiever Award honours outstanding young executive in recognition of their remarkable achievements and valuable contributions to their profession and industry.

He has been involved in managing various logistics projects development and implementation, including a warehouse automation project in a local supermarket distribution centre, supply chain management transformation in a private healthcare facility and logistics automation projects in a local hospital.

A project manager based in Hong Kong, Philip is experienced in logistics planning and business process improvement, particularly for hospital and warehouse projects. He has successfully set up a standard model with automated logistics solutions for warehouse operations to enable high space utilisation and efficient productivity, which not only benefits future development of the local logistics industry but also serves as a good reference to other industries.

The judges were also impressed by his dedication to nurturing young talents. He mentors and connects young engineers and graduates with the local logistics industry and offers them internship opportunities.
