For the fifth year in a row, Arup is proud to be recognized one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

Below are some of the reasons why Arup was named one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers for 2022:

  • Arup helps members balance personal and professional commitments with a variety of flexible work arrangements including flexible hours, compressed work weeks and a telecommuting option -- additionally, employees receive four weeks of starting vacation allowance.

  • Arup provides paid time off to volunteer, enabling employees to offer their expertise and skills through pro bono work with charitable partners.

  • Along with helping employees save for the future, Arup offers profit-sharing for all employees as well as generous referral bonuses for employees who successfully refer a candidate from their personal network (to $5,000CAD).

Arup is also proud to be recognized as one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People and featured in  The Career Directory, a resource for fresh college and university graduates looking for entry-level jobs. Employers on this list are among Canada's finest at attracting and retaining young employees. Arup has been commended for the wide range of internship and graduate opportunities offered to current students and recent graduates.

Arup has had a presence in Canada for over 20 years, including offices in Toronto and Montreal. Arup helps to create the future of cities by delivering cutting-edge work on transportation, healthcare, education, and infrastructure projects in collaboration with clients in the public and private sectors. In Toronto, Arup was responsible for the design of two new subway stations as part of the Toronto-York Spadina subway extension, as well as advising on the renovation of Union Station. Arup has also supplied aviation planning and design services at Toronto Pearson International Airport, and supported the substantial revitalization of Toronto's waterfront Queen's Quay West.

Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offer the most progressive programs.
