Arup has recently made a series of appointments in Vietnam to deliver its commitment to sustainable development and support its business growth in the wider Southeast Asia market.
“We welcome these ladies to our leadership team. This is a testament to our effort in empowering female leadership and embracing diversity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse client base across the region. ” Neil Harvey Director and Ho Chi Minh City office leader
Phung Nguyen joins Arup to lead the Environmental Sustainability Design (ESD) service in Vietnam. Phung brings with her a rich experience in green building consulting, proficient in all major international and local rating systems. She has been involved in a wide range of projects from offices to residential developments to factories, schools and resorts. Leveraging the firm’s global network of expertise, she will work closely with clients to deliver sustainable buildings locally.
Joining Phung is Tien Le in the role of Environmental team leader. Tien has extensive experience in environmental and social assessment for infrastructure projects ranging from bridges to industrial parks to waste management facilities. She is passionate to work with multiple stakeholders, from both public and private sectors as well as local communities, to minimise impacts of infrastructure on people and the environment.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City office further builds up its capacity in learning and development with the appointment of Ly Tran as Technical Training Manager. With substantial experience in the construction industry, she will focus on growing the office’s knowledge and expertise in sustainable development, enabling our local team to deliver impactful solutions for our clients.
These come after Phuong Chau’s appointment as MEP leader in Vietnam last year, driving sustainable solutions for integrated systems that create safer, more comfortable and resilient environments in the country and beyond.
