Arup has swept three awards at the HKIBIM Award 2023, recognising our excellence and achievements in the building information modelling (BIM) industry.
As a digital leader in the built environment, we have been pushing BIM’s capabilities to deliver high-quality and sustainable solutions for our clients. With around 150 BIM experts in the East Asia region, we are dedicated to promoting BIM knowledge across various disciplines. In 2023, we provided training on basic BIM skills for 30% of engineers in the region.
Our East Asia BIM Advisory team plays an important role in enhancing the BIM services of our firm. In addition to leading BIM implementation of our design and construction projects, the team also advises on BIM adoption in asset and facility management, as well as internal BIM standardisation and education in the region.
With 15 years of experience in integrating design with BIM implementation and automation, Ray Ng, our East Asia BIM Leader, dedicates himself to shaping a future where BIM is at the forefront of construction innovation. Ray has a proven track record of setting information management strategies and leading collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to deliver large-scale infrastructure and complex building projects.
