Arup Australasia has recognised the expertise and experience of its people, appointing three as new Region Board members and promoting five others to the senior position of Principal.
Region Chair Peter Chamley congratulated the group as leaders with strong reputations, committed to excellence and integrity.
The new Board members are Kate West who leads Arup’s Consulting Group in Western Australia and manages major transport projects; Kerryn Coker, a Sydney-based project director who heads the Building Specialists team; and Joseph Correnza, the Melbourne Office Leader and an experienced project leader and structural designer.
“Kate West, Kerryn Coker and Joseph Correnza join the Board as highly regarded professionals who have worked on complex city-shaping projects locally and internationally,” Mr Chamley said.
“They will bring diversity of thought, and a wide range of personal and professional skills and experiences to the Board.”
