Eric is an experienced EDI and organizational change leader. He comes to Arup after eight years at Deloitte as a leader in its EDI Consulting Practice, where he helped organizations build and refine their EDI strategies, trained executives on unconscious bias and inclusive leadership, developed innovative tools to support courageous conversations around inclusion and inclusive language, and built EDI roadmaps for implementation.

As EDI Director, Euting will play a key role in driving the success of Arup’s internal EDI Three-Year Action Plan – a set of commitments to make equity, social justice, and inclusion a fundamental part of the firm’s operations.

Arup’s EDI objectives include:

  • Diversifying Arup’s membership by expanding recruiting efforts across all levels with a focus on underrepresented groups.

  • Enabling Arupians to thrive by continuing to build and maintain an inclusive workplace.

  • Transforming communities by embedding an equitable approach into projects and partnerships.

“I look forward to building upon the work that Arup has done to put EDI at the top of our agenda. Arupians are knowledgeable and passionate, and we will work together to accelerate our progress and impact on equity, diversity, and inclusion, both within the firm and in the world,” stated Eric Euting.

Arup has been recognized for its consistent efforts to prioritize EDI. The firm received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. Arup continues to take a holistic approach by including conversations about cognitive diversity, ability, language, and cultural differences, in addition to identities of gender, race and ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
