Arup’s EDI objectives include:
-
Diversifying Arup’s membership by expanding recruiting efforts across all levels with a focus on underrepresented groups.
-
Enabling Arupians to thrive by continuing to build and maintain an inclusive workplace.
-
Transforming communities by embedding an equitable approach into projects and partnerships.
“I look forward to building upon the work that Arup has done to put EDI at the top of our agenda. Arupians are knowledgeable and passionate, and we will work together to accelerate our progress and impact on equity, diversity, and inclusion, both within the firm and in the world,” stated Eric Euting.
Arup has been recognized for its consistent efforts to prioritize EDI. The firm received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. Arup continues to take a holistic approach by including conversations about cognitive diversity, ability, language, and cultural differences, in addition to identities of gender, race and ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
