Lisa Dickson presents on resilience at Congressional briefing

Arup Associate Principal and Director of Resilience for the Americas Lisa Dickson gave a presentation on resiliency funding at a Congressional briefing at the US Capitol Building in Washington DC on 11 October. 

The briefing, presented by the British Embassy, focused on innovative economic solutions for financing hazard mitigation projects that will keep our communities safe and resilient.

“In a world marked by evolving disruptors and increasing uncertainty, the concept of resilience has emerged as an essential priority for our future. It speaks to the ability to adapt to ongoing shocks and stressors, while maintaining a consistent and reliable continuity,” Lisa said.
