Arup has emerged as the leading graduate employer in the engineering sector across Australia.

The firm’s graduate programme has ranked 1st in the engineering sector in Australia by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) as well as taking the top spot in Australia ranked by Prosple.

These results highlight Arup’s strengths in nurturing the next generation of talent in the engineering field.

Arup also ranked strongly across all graduate employers, taking the 9th spot in both the AAGE and Prosple lists. The rankings are determined by a combination of graduate reviews as well as the quality of the program to provide future graduates with an objective and comprehensive guide for the beginning of their careers.

Head of People and Culture, Steve Whyment said: “It’s fantastic to see the strength of Arup’s graduate programme recognised in these rankings. The feedback we consistently hear from our people is how our ability to pursue our values with conviction really sets us apart. As an independent firm owned in trust by our members, we’re not beholden to the pressures of shareholders, and this empowers us to do work we really believe in, and that shapes a better and more sustainable future.”

Applications for Arup’s graduate development programme in Singapore are now open, with applications for our programme in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Malaysia opening Monday 19 February.
