Our winning projects
Hub Synergy Point
Arup provided civil, structural and acoustic consulting for this 27-storey, 150m tall commercial building located at the heart of Tanjong Pagar. With a leaseable floor area of approximately 122,000 sq ft, the development features column-free office spaces and a 40m high volume outdoor sky garden. Completed in August 2022, HSP is a showcase of structural and design innovation, and has fast become a contemporary office landmark in Singapore’s Central Business District.
National Cancer Centre Singapore
Located within the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) Medical Campus, the 28-storey building houses highly specialised facilities for cancer care, rehabilitation, research and education, including the largest radiation therapy department in Singapore and 220-tonne proton beam gantries. Adopting a patient-centric design, the development features high-ceiling gardens and podiums, and maximised daylight. Opened to public in May 2023, Arup provided civil, structural, façade, geotechnical and transport engineering services for this development.
TE17 Outram Park MRT Station
Situated on the Thomson-East Coast line, this four-level underground station is part of a busy three-line interchange, together with the existing East-West Line and North East Line. Completed in 2022, the station is connected to the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) Campus, and provisions for future developments. The station is designed to improve existing interchange connectivity and optimises the transfer experience of commuters with differing levels of mobility. Arup was the Architectural and Engineering (A/E) consultant for this project.
Kallang Polyclinic and Long-Term Care
Opened in May 2022, the facility was launched to help meet the growing needs of residents in the area. The development comprises a hybrid five-storey polyclinic and five-storey, 128-bedder long-term care or nursing home, and is co-located next to the Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital. With a vision of providing patient-centred care, Arup was commissioned by Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) to provide civil and structural engineering, geotechnics, transport planning, and acoustic consulting services for the development.
Additionally, three outstanding engineers from our Singapore office, namely Fergus Lim, Gloria Wong and Kurniawan Prasetya Pieth were named ACES Young Consulting Engineer of the Year 2024. This award recognizes and celebrates young consulting engineers aged 35 and below, who possess excellent design and engineering skills, have completed ground-breaking work, and have made substantial contributions to their professions.
