Arup recognised for nurturing the next generation of sustainability champions

The Next Generation Award recognised Arup’s innovative approach to attract, recruit, retain and retrain sustainability talent.

Arup was recognised at this week’s global Environmental Analyst’s “Sustainability Consulting Awards” in Chicago, USA, winning the Next Generation Award for its early careers pilot programme.

The Next Generation Award recognises Arup’s innovative approach to attract, recruit, retain and retrain sustainability talent, and its contribution towards developing early career professionals within the environmental and sustainability consulting sector.

Each year Arup welcomes a significant number of apprentices and graduates to create a diverse talent pipeline. Arup’s 2022 open door recruitment pilot in London resulted in its largest ever intake. The pilot saw 71 apprentices and more than 300 graduates undertake a curated development programme designed to nurture the next generation of environmental and sustainability consultants.
