Often called the “thoroughfare of nine provinces”, Wuhan is a major transportation hub and the capital of Hubei province.

Arup provided sustainability consultancy services for the Wuhan Tiandi mixed-use development, which was awarded LEED® - Neighbourhood Development (LEED®-ND) Pilot Gold rating by the US Green Building Council. This is the first commercial district scale development in China to be certified by the LEED®-ND pilot rating system and only the second LEED®-ND pilot certified project of any description in China, following the Beijing Olympic Village.
