Indonesia is one of the largest economies in South East Asia and with more than 252 million people it’s the world’s fourth most populous country.

Arup’s presence in Indonesia dates back to the 1970s. We were involved in shaping some of the country’s early landmarks including The Peak Twin Towers and Menara Jamsostek in Jakarta; Sumatra’s Siak River Bridge; and Shangri-la Hotel in Surabaya.

Today we continue to shape the country’s buildings and infrastructure through projects such as the Bander Lampung Water Supply Scheme, Astra Tower and the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo).
