We work on projects relating to critical infrastructure such as water, healthcare, energy, housing, and transport, and have experience of working on post-disaster projects. Following cyclone Idai our Harare team was involved in carrying out the assessment of the infrastructure, and later in the design for the rehabilitation of some of the infrastructure with a greater emphasis on climate resilience. 

We are contributing to Zimbabwe’s transition to low-carbon energy through a number of projects. We have prepared Environmental Impact Assessments for three major solar farms which have been approved by the Environmental Management Agency of Zimbabwe. We have also worked on the Surrey solar farm and the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society Rooftop EIA projects both of which were approved by Environmental Management Agency of Zimbabwe and registered with the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority. 

From our Harare office we provided structural, electrical and mechanical engineering for the award winning Eastgate shopping mall in Harare. The pioneering use of natural ventilation to cool the building makes it one of the prominent green buildings in Zimbabwe. 

We have provided planning expertise for the masterplans of towns including for Victoria Falls, Chirundu and Mutare. In all masterplans, central issues relate to the integration of human activities to biodiversity conservation through zoning, promotion of the use of low-carbon energy and reduction of the use of vehicular traffic to manage carbon emissions.
