Warsaw

Poland, with the largest economy in Central Europe, is a development success story, as broad-based productivity growth has translated into remarkable progress in poverty reduction and shared prosperity.

Its capital city, Warsaw, is also one of Europe's most dynamically developing metropolitan cities. Thanks to its modern architecture, excellent infrastructure and numerous incentive programmes, more and more companies are deciding to establish headquarters here and developing innovative ideas.

Arup is proud of its contribution to this success through our portfolio of projects, which includes engineering, planning and advisory services on significant projects such as Złota 44, one of the tallest residential buildings in Europe; the Google Warsaw Campus, a community hub where entrepreneurs come to learn, share ideas and launch start-ups; the extension of the Warsaw Metro M2 Line; and the 1800-seat National Music Forum concert hall in Wrocław.

Our projects often have a lasting impact on the city and the country. Such projects include our aviation planning for Warsaw Chopin Airport and the Central Transportation Hub, which will significantly increase regional capacity and contribute to wider economic development.

In addition to these projects, our local knowledge and experience enables us to plan the stabilisation of an existing dam on the Vistuła River, located within a sensitive environment, and to support local municipalities as they plan and adapt to the challenges of surface water flooding.

We have had a permanent presence in Poland and Warsaw since 1998, working with the public and private sectors to help the city, and the wider country, meet its unique challenges. Our breadth of local experience and expertise, with access to the firm's specialist global network, enables us to deliver projects of every scale in the built environment.
