BangkokBangkok
Bangkok is the largest urban area by far in Thailand and the most significant political, social and economic centre of much of South East Asia.
Arup has been involved in a range of infrastructure and transportation projects in the city, including the underground stations of new Bangkok International Airport, and the Mass Rapid Transit Initial System north section, which comprises nine underground stations and 11km of twin bored tunnels.
On the specialist side, we provided advice on facade engineering for Central World Plaza, Empire Tower and King Power Duty Free shop. We are the MEP engineering consultant for British Embassy Bangkok, United Nations and Shangri-la Hotel Chiang-Mai. CP Orange Switching Centre best demonstrates the firm’s capacity in communications and mechanical and electrical design.
