In 2017 Arup opened its office in downtown Oakland, with the aim of better serving our East Bay clients. As we expand our presence in the Bay Area, the Oakland office enables us to embed ourselves within the local community while providing our same exacting standards of quality work and client service.

Our team of engineers and consultants provides a full range of offerings from building and infrastructure engineering to consulting. Arup has worked in the Bay Area for more than 30 years, with a growing portfolio of work in the East Bay. Locally the firm is involved with work on 2100 Telegraph, 1900 Broadway, 2 Kaiser Plaza in downtown Oakland, and WeWork on 1111 Broadway; multiple projects for BART; and have collaborated with Alameda County and the City of Berkeley.

Looking ahead, the Oakland office will continue to expand its offerings and increase our staff as a part of the city’s dynamic industrial growth.
