Akshay is an experienced Urban Designer who has worked on several urban design and public realm projects of various scales including city master plans, residential developments, mixed-use developments, parks and streetscapes. He is a keen observer of urban spaces and an ‘urban geek’ whose past time includes reimagining existing spaces to make them people friendly.

A combination of urban design and architectural training along with landscape experience has helped him develop a strong understanding of the various aspects of built environment and their impact on the users. 

Akshay has been a UAE resident for more than five years during which he has worked on several urban design and public realm projects and appreciates the significance of designing spaces that reflect every location’s unique culture, climate and challenges, as well as the aspirations of its people.
