Andreas Raedle is a Principal and Americas West Rail Leader based in Arup’s San Francisco office. With over 20 years of experience, he has contributed to significant large-scale infrastructure and tunneling projects around the world. Before moving to the United States in 2020, Andreas worked from Arup’s Singapore office, where he led underground infrastructure work for the Southeast Asia region and led as Project Director the multidisciplinary design development of several major projects in transport and water portfolios.

Andreas brings strong communication and organizational skills to his management of large multidisciplinary teams on complex multi-site projects. When combined with his technical expertise, Andreas’ leadership enables the delivery of safe, sustainable, and economic projects to support transformative rail projects and systems. He is currently leading the delivery of detailed design for all tunnel aspects for Kiewit Shea Traylor JV for the VTA’s BART Silicon Valley Phase II Project, CP2.
