I am Arup’s Healthcare Business Lead for the UK, India, Middle East and Africa. My experience leading teams spans over 20 years working with health and social care providers in the NHS and private sector, Department of Health, Health Ministries, United Nations, and NGOs.

A leader within Arup’s Advisory team, I have extensive experience advising clients on their estates and asset portfolios, leading teams on major change programmes in strategic healthcare reform and integrating health and social care into community and diagnostic services.

As a project director with a structural engineering background, I have managed diverse projects, including business case development, diagnostic services and elective surgery programmes, estates and facilities efficiency reviews, and smart hospital automation. My project management experience of major capital projects spans new build and refurbishment in specialist areas of cancer centres, mental health units, neonatal, children’s, and maternity hospitals.

I am an advocate of sustainable healthcare design, and I was part of the technical advisory group supporting Health Care Without Harm to develop the first global estimate of the health care climate footprint, Healthcare’s climate footprint, and the Global Road Map for Healthcare Decarbonization
