I am a Chartered Engineer and Multidisciplinary Design Team Leader specialising in the waste and energy buildings sector, particularly waste-to-energy typology buildings. I have gained broad ranging experience in several sectors of the construction industry; in the design office, on site and through client secondments. I have clear knowledge of the multidisciplinary interfaces required to ensure integrated delivery of the project.

Currently based at our London office, I work as a Design Team Leader for multidisciplinary teams, responsible for leading the team and delivering design deliverables on multi-million-pound projects on time, to budget and to the client’s satisfaction. I lead Arup's Building London’s Energy & Waste Buildings Business which includes Energy Recovery facilities. I am particularly interested in making improvements to society through infrastructure which supports effective waste management, renewable energy and the circular economy.

I have developed capabilities in the waste, energy, rail, pharmaceutical, science, laboratory, hospital, financial, mission critical and the fast-moving consumer goods sectors. I also have experience in airport and residential sectors providing me with a breadth of experience across several key sectors.  Over the latter part of my career, I have developed skills in multidisciplinary design delivery, pulling together a multitude of skills to deliver designs solving our clients' most difficult challenges.
