I am an associate landscape architect in Arup’s placemaking team in the West of England with more than 17 years’ experience in landscape design, assessment and planning.

Over recent years at Arup, I have specialised in the planning side of the landscape profession – latterly with a focus on the design and delivery of large-scale, strategic landscape mitigation and environmental enhancement projects. These include Keyn Glas – a scheme of 50km² of environmental enhancements alongside the A30 in Cornwall, and Stafford Brooks – a green and blue infrastructure restoration project across the town of Stafford.

I have a restorative approach to design, for the benefit of natural systems, biodiversity and people. I take great pride in devising holistic, multifunctional, and truly sustainable environmental recovery outcomes. I believe the best work is born out of cross-discipline collaboration with colleagues in landscape, water, engineering, heritage, ecology and environment. Together we create purposeful projects to be adopted and valued by people who live, visit and work in the landscape.
