Catarina Carvalho is an Associate and Americas East Cities Planning and Design Services Co-Leader with a focus on Logistics and Operations. Based in Arup’s New York office, she advises clients on the decarbonization of supply chains, resiliency of operations, security of assets, and designing logistics and operations solutions that are both beneficial for businesses and the communities they serve.

Recently, Catarina advised Fortune 50 organizations on last mile urban logistics transformation in the dense urban environment. Over her career, she has lived and worked in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Catarina brings a global, diverse, and inclusive perspective to all her clients, leveraging her engineering expertise to resolve challenging real-world problems. In 2023, Catarina was recognized by Engineering News-Record as a Top Young Professional as part of the National Top 20 Under 40.
