Catherine is an Associate Director and the Hydrogeology team leader for Arup in Ireland. She has a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Trinity College Dublin and a master’s degree in Hydrogeology from the University of Leeds. She is Professional Geologist with the Institute of Geologists of Ireland and is a recognised European Geologist (EurGeol) with the European Federation of Geologists (EFG). She is also a part time lecturer on the environmental management of geology and hydrogeology in UCD.

Catherine is an experienced Project Manager who has managed projects for a variety of disciplines. Her technical background is in hydrogeology and her project experience includes groundwater flow modelling, contaminant fate transport modelling, groundwater protection assessments (drainage design review), environmental impact statements, hydrogeological impact assessments for dewatering operations, geothermal energy, groundwater monitoring, site investigation, human health and controlled water risk assessments. She has undertaken many research projects for the minerals industry.
