Dr. Charles Doyle is the Chief Marketing Officer at Arup and also a board member and senior advisor to multiple companies and board trustee for several charities.

With over 36 years of experience working in international companies in the USA, Europe and Asia, Charles has specialized in professional services marketing, global brand and image development, digital marketing, communications as well as business development and strategy. 

A published writer, conference speaker and leading expert on marketing, he is the author of the Oxford Dictionary of Marketing (OUP) which is now in its 4th revised edition as well as numerous articles on the subject of marketing, brand and communications. 

Charles was the Global Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and for JLL, the international commercial real estate company, the global CMO for Clifford Chance, one of the world’s larger law firms. Prior to that he held a number of divisional CMO roles with Accenture and international marketing, business development and strategy director roles at BT, Fujitsu and the UK Atomic Energy Authority.
