Cierine Nicolas is Arup’s Chicago Office Leader. As a Principal and Americas Digital Leader, she brings more than 20 years of experience managing expansive, interdisciplinary engineering teams on complex and challenging projects, including the soon to be completed Fermilab Integrated Engineering Research Center.

A specialist in high-rise and high-performance buildings, Cierine has a comprehensive understanding of office/corporate, mixed-use developments, hospitality, restaurant, cultural, performing arts, residential, sports, educational, and government sectors. Prior to joining Arup in 2016, she served as an executive consultant to a preeminent Silicon Valley-based tech firm, advising the company’s top management on domestic and international construction projects and real estate strategies.
