Dan Brodkin joined Arup in 1988. He has practiced as a structural engineer in London and is currently a Principal with the New York office, where he has worked for nearly 35 years. 

His professional experience includes project management of multidisciplinary design teams, structural design and site supervision for large-scale projects. He has experience applying advanced analytical techniques to support challenging architectural designs, including long-span roofs, timber structures, tensile structures, and glass structures.

Dan provides innovative structural solutions to projects ranging from airport terminals to museums, from libraries to performing arts centers, and from convention centers to university campus buildings. Dan has also worked as an adjunct faculty member and studio advisor for architecture programs at Columbia University, Princeton University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Pennsylvania.
