I am a Director and the East Asia Regional Design Leader for Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture. As a UK registered architect and an urban designer, I am passionate about place-making and sustainable city design. I have extensive global experience on large-scale complex architecture and city planning projects, leading large multi-disciplinary teams, working across different sectors and regions. I also lead the East Asia Urban Innovation Unit, an Arup initiative that provides thought leadership and insights into innovative urban solutions, creating impactful and resilient design for our future cities.
I am also the East Asia Skills Leader for Architecture and Landscape Design. I chair the Education and CPD Committee for the Royal Institute of British Architects, Hong Kong Chapter. I am a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design. I am regularly invited as guest speakers in urban design and sustainable architecture conferences and forums. I act as an external reviewer at the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University, and the City University of Hong Kong. My team has recently won an International Advancing Net Zero Competition, organised by the Hong Kong Green Building Council to promote our innovative net zero carbon design.
