Dinesh is an Arup Fellow, after a long history at Arup working on transport infrastructure and complex basement projects globally. Dinesh is an expert in geotechnical engineering, increasingly focused on designing basements and deep foundations in dense urban environments and the challenges this brings, particularly when they interact with third party infrastructure. He has worked on geotechnical solutions for many tall buildings in London as well as extensions to landmark listed buildings. Having worked closely on many design and build solutions, Dinesh is passionate that designs are buildable, and bring this training to his Arup colleagues. He is also closely involved on many schemes where foundation reuse is being considered for new and existing structures; this has allowed him to find unique solutions so that additional floors can be added when repurposing existing structures.
