Emma Oldroyd

Ireland Masterplanning and Landscape Architecture Leader

Emma Oldroyd is a Chartered Landscape Architect based in Arup’s Dublin office. With experience on multidisciplinary projects from strategy to detailed design, Emma is involved in urban design and regeneration, strategic, site and detailed design and green infrastructure planning and delivery. She has also worked on urban food growing projects and forestry. Emma joined Arup in 2021 after working in practice and as an academic, gaining significant experience working with clients across public, private and community sectors.

Her key achievements include embedding the North Lewisham masterplan into policy and developing detailed design solutions for parks and public realm. She published an award-winning BackToFront Manual which led to developing best practice guidance on urban food growing and initiated a city-wide community growing group in Leeds.
