I am a mechanical engineer and offshore wind specialist in Arup’s Advanced Digital Engineering team. I’m also a member of the offshore wind business leadership. My focus is on augmenting our engineering offering with data and emergent digital technology.

I have led numerous offshore wind design and asset management projects in the UK and Asia. I’m expert in structural dynamics and using advanced numerical simulation to justify cost saving innovations, including TP-less monopiles and floating wind foundations.

I also lead technical innovation projects on behalf of the firm. I recently established Arup’s cloud-based offshore wind asset management and life extension solution, and have delivered over £1.5m of technical research looking at the use of concrete to reduce the cost of floating renewable energy structures.
