Leader Foresight Europe, Arup Germany
As the Europe Foresight Leader, I help clients to actively shape their future by defining a strong vision.
Our focus is on strategy and working on innovative projects with major clients from science and industry, including mobility, engineering and the chemical industry. Projects we've worked on include include a masterplanning concept for the City of Eschborn in Germany, an innovation study for a global market leader in flooring solutions, and a scenario ‘Mobility Services 2030’ for Volkswagen Group Financial Services.
Recently, as co-author for our Future of Labs report, I examined the major trends impacting the future of scientific research laboratories.
Over the last decade I have been guest lecturing at Hannover University, Instituto Europeo di Design Torino, University of Vienna and the European Business School in Östrich-Winkel. I have also written a number of articles on corporate foresight and innovation management, and authored a book.
Prior to joining Arup in 2014, I worked as a consultant at Z_punkt The Foresight Company, was a project director at Volkswagen Group Research, and was a senior researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Freiburg, Germany.
