Ioannis Avgeris leads the Maritime business in Europe. He has over 20 years’ experience providing design, transaction advisory and asset management services in the maritime infrastructure sector, covering ports and marinas, dredging and land reclamation works, shore protection structures, offshore wind developments, waterfront developments and intakes and outfalls.

Building on his experience as Client’s Representative on several major construction projects, Ioannis is skilled at leading teams to develop solutions that satisfy technical requirements and environmental constraints, while using his knowledge of construction techniques to ensure designs are cost-effective and align with phasing requirements.

He has considerable experience leading the teams responsible for contract management and site supervision. Key projects include the Port of Cork Masterplan 2050, Phase 2 of the River Dodder Flood Alleviation Scheme, Co. Dublin, Arklow Wastewater Treatment Plant Shore Protection, Co. Wicklow and Contrecoeur Container Terminal, Port of Montreal.
