Associate | Urban Design and Masterplanning Leader – Queensland

Jaime Traspaderne is a passionate urban designer with the ambition to create more resilient, liveable and nature-based urban environments. He is a RIBA registered Architect and leads the Urban Design and Masterplanning team in Queensland.

Jaime’s works extends from Europe to the Middle East, Asia and Australia, working in projects such as the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ Qatar, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic, Mahindra World City Jaipur, and the Brisbane Metro project. 

Jaime is an architect and urban designer who works on a range of masterplanning and urban design projects with sustainable placemaking at their core.

He has significant experience leading visioning and masterplanning teams on complex development projects which interface with infrastructure and mesh new communities with existing ones. His experience as a design architect ensures the quality of place is central to the development of these strategies and projects.

Jaime’s work has won a series of architectural and urban design competitions and has been exhibited in London, Madrid, Switzerland, Hungary, Dubai, Qatar and Beijing, and has been published in several international publications.

Jaime is a collaborator and guest lecturer at the Queensland University of Technology and Bond University, Gold Coast.
