James Duggan is a Director in Arup with over 25 years’ experience in civil and structural engineering design, site supervision and multidisciplinary project delivery and management. He has a particular interest in developing and growing relationships with clients and manages large client portfolios both nationally and internationally. He is known for his focus on high quality deliverables and progressing digital transformation in the built environment in his role as a Digital Leader for Arup in Ireland.

Throughout his career, James has worked on a wide range of projects in many sectors both nationally and internationally including pharmaceutical, commercial, residential, retail, technology and healthcare. Key projects include the delivery of a European HQ Campus for a confidential technology client and key property sector developments including the Prism, the Custom House Development and Horgan’s Quay. International projects that James has worked on include the Design Museum in London and his work on Factory safety inspections in Bangladesh.
