Jörg Obergfell leads the Transport Business as well as the Infrastructure Consulting Team at Arup in Germany.

He has extensive experience from a wide range of projects: civil engineering, road, rail, airport, industrial construction. In addition, his education is based on both a technical and business background. For the most part, he has worked on complex large-scale projects, including as an owner's representative. In addition, he has expert knowledge such as PPP, contract and supplement management, transaction consulting, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Important projects of his work include, for example, the new Stuttgart 21 railway line, as well as the highway junction at the Funkturm Berlin, where Jörg Obergfell was project director.

Jörg Obergfell studied civil engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Constance and industrial engineering at the Technical University of Central Hesse.
