I am the Director responsible for leading the Arup vertical transportation group in London.

I have been involved in all aspects of the design of commercial office, retail, hotel, airports, transportation hubs and residential developments for a period of over 35 years, I have worked on projects in every continent of the world except Antarctica.

My particular interest is the design of vertical transportation systems for tall and very tall mixed-use buildings, these have included the Guangzhou IFC building in China, Atrio in Bogota and the Yongsan Landmark tower in Seoul, this latter project has yet to be built.

My experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams leads me to take a holistic view of the design of transportation, rather than one limited to simply giving specialist advice.
