Kate Jackson leads Arup’s Circular Economy skills and services across our UK, India, Middle East, and Africa region. As a Chartered Environmentalist with over 20 years’ experience, she works with public and private sector clients across a range of sectors, including transport, water, waste and the built environment, to address their environmental, social and governance challenges.

By taking a systems-based approach, Kate works collaboratively across value chains to assess circular value opportunities, including projects that accelerate decarbonisation and deliver regenerative and restorative nature-based outcomes. An example of this is her contribution to the Circular Buildings Toolkit with our partners the Ellen Macarthur Foundation. She continues to take a central role in the development of globally leading circular assessment tools and conducts operational research to support the transition to a circular economy.

Kate is a member of the Business in the Community’s (BiTC) Circular Economy Taskforce, collaborating with industry leaders across the UK to embrace and promote a circular value transition. She is also a member of the Institute of Asset Management.
