Kenneth Wynne is a Chartered Fire Engineer and Associate Director at Arup with over 19 years' experience in the fire engineering industry. He leads Arup's field research, which lead to the publication of A Framework for Fire Safety in Informal Settlement, which provides a structured way of approaching the challenge of fire safety in informal settlements. He also co-authored Arup’s Carebox Low Resource Guide, which provides fire safety guidance for healthcare facilities in low resource settings, such as camps and informal settlements.

Kenneth has a strong focus on working to advance fire safety in low resource settings, supporting humanitarian and development actors in achieving risk reduction objectives in camps and informal settlements. He is also committed to enhancing quality in large infrastructural projects globally with the aim of implementing fire safety upgrades that will have a positive impact for generations to come.
