Liam brings both technical expertise and a purpose-driven leadership style to help realise the firm’s positive impact. He has extensive experience in delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure projects throughout Australia and around the world. 

Liam has over 20 years of experience in engineering, project delivery and leading teams. Since joining Arup in 2006, he has led multidisciplinary teams in a variety of locations and markets to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.

Through his experience delivering complex infrastructure projects throughout Australia and overseas, particularly in alliances and joint ventures, Liam has demonstrated an understanding of the power of collaboration.

A clear, articulate communicator and engaging leader, Liam is focused on leading and developing cohesive, integrated teams that genuinely live our firm’s values and align with our vision to shape a better world.

Through this engagement and culture-building focus, Liam leads and empowers his teams to deliver integrated, optimal design solutions that positively impact our clients, communities, and society.

Liam is a chartered professional engineer, a member of Engineers Australia, and a Roads Australia Fellow of 2017. As part of our wider leadership team in Australasia, Liam helps guide our operational and strategic direction.
