Luca is a structural engineer, in Arup since 2003, with experience in designing new buildings as well as assessing and refurbishing existing structures and industrial facilities. His skills are particularly focused on the design of seismic resistant structures, tall buildings and sports venues and stadia. He worked in the Arup offices in London, Amsterdam and in Madrid in the past and he is currently based in Milan where he leads the Structural Engineering team. 

Luca has managed important multi-disciplinary projects and he fosters the use of advanced solutions and technologies in structural design in order to integrate innovation and sustainability in a fully integrated design approach. 

His most significant projects delivered as Lead Engineer and Project Manager are the new Allianz Tower in Milan (aka Isozaki Tower), Bosco Verticale and the initial concept for the new A.C. Milan stadium. Luca is now Project Director for the design of the new football stadium in Florence.
