Michael Beaven

He's worked in the UK, Europe, USA, Japan and Australia with many of the world’s leading architects. For more than ten years he has been leading and growing successful multi-disciplinary and integrated design groups within Arup. His design leadership has delivered numerous world firsts and awards for pioneering and innovative designs across many building types and scales. 

His interest in the human experience with the built environment has resulted in a number of publications on intelligent buildings and the engineering of projects focussing on people. His leadership in digital has resulted in the accelerated development of global BIM and data standards outside the firm and the creation of Arup’s automation tools including our Global Revit Standard.
