I am a sustainability, carbon, and climate change specialist, leading the sustainability consulting team for the UK's North West & Yorkshire Region. Through my work, I am passionate about and experienced in advising and supporting government, public and private sector clients through their sustainability and decarbonisation journey.

Since joining Arup as a student in Dublin, Ireland, I have gone on to work in many Arup Offices around the globe, including Sydney, Australia; Edinburgh, Scotland; Seattle, USA - I'm currently based in beautiful Yorkshire - Leeds, UK. I bring a global perspective to clients and projects whilst delivering local knowledge and solutions.

I’m an environmental engineer by background and have extensive experience across a range of sustainability, carbon and climate areas, including strategy, assessment and advice, business case development, strategic assessment & appraisal, design, certifications, sustainable events and corporate/organisation sustainability. I have particular expertise working at an organisation level to set strategies, empower teams and leadership, embed sustainability into decision making at all levels and support the transition to net zero carbon.

At the G7 Summit and COP26 in 2021, I led on sustainability and carbon for the UK Government. I have also worked closely with the Environment Agency on delivering its sustainability and carbon strategic targets.

I’m enthusiastic and driven to improve environmental, social and economic outcomes through the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and to inspire & empower others – to that, I made a video with Arup University to explain what a sustainability consultant does, aimed at children but equally useful for adults.
